To address IT needs, customers have been increasingly requesting for additional value added services. The time has finally come when we can complement our offerings with extended levels of services through our partner community.
Before we proceed, here’s a quick introduction – I’m Freek Hemminga, Leaseweb Global Services’ first and new Channel Development & Alliances Manager. And I write to you from our brand new elegant office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands – centrally located at one of the main internet crossroads in the world.
Routes to market: for over 15 years I have been working across channel, distribution, partners, alliances, marketing, and driving partner satisfaction programs in the IT industry. I have been doing this across SMB and Enterprise, covering a wide range of vertical markets. That said, you can easily conclude that channel is in my DNA, and for me, it spells with a capital C.
Recently, I have taken a turn in my career. After working for U.S. companies for over 15 years, I found a connection with my roots as I started working for a company that originates in The Netherlands. It’s great to continue working in an international environment as Leaseweb brings together entrepreneurial minds from across the globe to innovate the future of hosting.
An important part of my new role is to set the direction and develop the partner program and its framework for building and managing partnerships across all levels and for all types. By providing future partners with robust, proven, foundational computing power, we help them to focus on their core business and augment their growth. In order to provide the levels of confidence required in hosting, I will also strengthen relationships with the top brands we work with such as HP, IBM, Dell, and Microsoft.
Along with enhancing business growth, customers can now also reap the benefits of the partner programs. Partners can help customers to shift from IT support for their business to technology integration with their business – serving their clients in the best possible way.
