Gartner has positioned Leaseweb as a “Visionary”

At Leaseweb we believe that innovation drives everything we do – so to be recognized by Gartner as a “Visionary” in its June 2013 Magic Quadrant for European Managed Hosting* is something that makes everyone here happy. According to Gartner, Visionaries have an ‘early-mover’ advantage in providing cloud services as well as road maps that may make them into Leaders in the future.

What does it take to be an innovator?

The spirit of innovation runs in our blood. Since inception, Leaseweb has continually invested in R&D for all its hosting products and services. And we make sure that our clients play a central role in our innovation too by regularly seeking their feedback and responding to their needs. We use the Scrum framework to develop new products and services and by hiring the right self-motivated developers and engineers, we’re able to constantly improve what we offer clients.

Our people are empowered to think innovatively and we foster an environment where every member of staff – whether they work in sales, customer service or R&D – can test the boundaries of their knowledge, share ideas and initiative and creativity is celebrated.

Innovation is a continuous process and we have an ambitious roadmap to launch a series of cutting edge technologies. A couple of weeks ago we announced the launch of our CDN offering and there’s plenty more to come in the next 12 months. So whilst Gartner’s recognition is a testament to the success of our customer-focused innovation, we will not be resting on our laurels!
