Thanks to everybody for making this year’s Leaseweb Texel Airshow a success, we really enjoyed having you and hoped you had as much fun as we did.
For all those who missed it, we have created this fantastic after movie to try and encompass the excitement of the day!
Every three years, Leaseweb sponsors the Leaseweb Texel Airshow located on Texel Island, the largest of the Wadden Islands – a group of islands in north of Holland. This year’s event took place on August 4th and almost 20,000 excited people; including our customers among which were Speakap, Successfully and Divide. Spectators gathered for an unforgettable day of acrobatic mastery from over 200 private airplanes and parachutes, kids being wow’d by the magician, great music from a passionate Leaseweb company band, a relaxed atmosphere, and good networking – it all came together to make an exceptional experience.
We were founded by two pilots over 20 years ago in 1997 – Con Zwinkels and Laurens Rosenthal. During their spare time, they developed and grew a global hosting provider that is Leaseweb. Both pilots instilled their enthusiasm for airplanes within the company and therefore the airshow is apt. Similarly between running a cloud hosting company and flying an airplane, amazing things happen when people and technology come together. The strength of our company comes from our drive to connect with our customers to help them grow, scale for new possibilities and help them reach the unreachable.
