Leaseweb Netherlands officially has a new fleet of Peugeot E-208 (e-cars), meaning that 80% of our cars are now 100% electric. This marks another great step towards our sustainability goals, which for some time have included switching out our company vehicles. The keys were officially handed over to employees this week by LeasePlan at an event hosted by Van Mossel. We were extremely proud to see our employees hit the road in their new environmentally sustainable rides.
In 2020, the Peugeot e-208 won ‘Best Electric Car’ at the ‘Britain’s Best Cars Awards’ as well as ‘European Car of the Year’. This comes as no surprise, since the fully electric model is easy to adjust to for first-time users of electric cars, is practical for day-to-day life, and is not so hard on the eyes either. With a premium interior and the ability to hit faster speeds compared to Leaseweb’s previous fleet of cars, the Peugeot e-208 not only delivers a more sustainable driving experience but a more enjoyable one.
