Many of you probably know about our Cloud services in the Netherlands. In fact, since our new platform was launched, we’ve seen thousands of customers using our Express Cloud to host their applications. I’ve talked to quite a few of them and when I ask what they would like us to add, the answer is often: “More PoPs to choose from”.
I’m proud to announce that today, we took the first step in our global expansion by launching the LeaseWeb Cloud platform in the U.S.!
It’s that time of the year again! The leaves are turning, the days are shorter and the air is wonderfully crisp. It’s the fall season, also known as autumn or harvest time. Whatever you call it, you cannot deny the fun, joys, and blessings this season brings! Just think of all the harvest festivals, the pumpkin patches brimming with bright orange pumpkin, tasty pies, and warm apple cider. From Oktoberfest with all the beer and ‘wurst you can eat, to spooky Halloween’s candy galore; I truly find this the best season of them all. Then there’s of course Thanksgiving in November. All the turkey, stuffing, yams, cranberry sauce, and gravy you can eat – simply groovy!
HostingCon 2012 has been a very refreshing experience for LeaseWeb USA this year, attending such an important industry event with our entire team was an amazing opportunity. We shared and learned about industry trends, shook hands with our customers and partners – but most of all we got completely hyped up to bring a fresh breeze from Boston’s Bay with us!
I can’t believe it’s already been 1.5 years since the birth of LeaseWeb USA, Inc!
Strategically, for the LeaseWeb brand, it was the obvious step after strongly leading the European hosting market – the US was what our customers were continuously asking us for. So LeaseWeb USA, Inc. was established specifically for targeting and supporting the US market.
Who would have thought that the Dutch hosting company I work for in Europe would be who brought me home?
Hi, I’m Lawton Cheney and I am LeaseWeb USA’s new vice president of Business Development writing to you from our offices here in Manassas, Virginia – a short drive from Washington DC and from where I grew up in Maryland. As I began my commute to the office on my first day, I saw the neighborhood kids waiting at the same bus stop I used to go to. To give you an idea of how long ago that is, the Washington Redskins were at the very top of pro football in those days.
