Strategically, for the LeaseWeb brand, it was the obvious step after strongly leading the European hosting market – the US was what our customers were continuously asking us for. So LeaseWeb USA, Inc. was established specifically for targeting and supporting the US market.

Teaming up with our customers for cool ideas

When you run into someone in the hallways of the LeaseWeb’s offices and say ‘Hey, how’s it going?” the most common answer you will get is “Great! But busy!”

It’s true, we’re all so involved with whatever it is we’re doing, literally running sometimes day and night to meet deadlines. From my point of view, you really need to be smart about striking a balance between meeting those deadlines, while still taking your time to be creative to bring that extra something into your work.

The added value of social media in the hosting industry

It seems that the potential of social media in the hosting industry has not been fully recognized yet. If you look at Twitter, blog sites like WebHostingTalk (and let’s not forget Facebook/Google+), you will see that some of the big players in the industry don’t even have an account. On the other hand, the few that do spend resources on it are slowly taking it to the next level.

LeaseWeb supports Sukaria charity project, helping children in Indonesia

This week the LeaseWeb offices have seemed more like a bakery, with home-baked Indonesian cakes, biscuits and treats being served to colleagues, co-workers and company friends. It’s all in the name of a good cause called Sukaria. LeaseWeb is supporting Sukaria, a charity founded by one of its Customer Support Engineer, Janice Ritzer. The Sukaria project aims to raise funds, food and clothing for the children of the Mollucan Islands, Indonesia.
